Starting signal for company bike leasing

The city administration is offering its employees and civil servants the opportunity to lease company bikes. In cooperation with the company bike leasing provider RadimDienst, which specializes in the public sector, employees will have the opportunity to use a high-quality bike, pedelec or cargo bike both for commuting to work and in their free time from 6 May 2024 - even on vacation. A comprehensive insurance package covers them at home and abroad and ensures mobility, even in the event of damage. Accessories, saddlebags, trailers or a second battery can also be leased.

Mayor Eva Döhla: "The time has finally come and the timing is perfect for the company bike for our employees. The city of Hof is taking part in the AOK campaign 'Cycle to work'. As patron of the health insurance company's popular summer campaign, it is important to me to get many people moving on their way to work."

With the company bike leasing model, the city of Hof provides its employees with a bike or pedelec of their choice, including accessories, for the duration of a three-year leasing period. The leasing and insurance installments are deducted from the employees' salaries as part of the deferred compensation scheme.
